It started badly on 11.08.2010 and I wonder how and when will it ends...

That night's traffic jam was a sign of bad things gonna happen I think.

Well, we started our shooting and bad things happened.
First, Puteri lost her car key. We stopped our shooting and searched for the key but we failed.
I sent her home and on the way back I got banged up from behind twice.
The worst was the 2 cars ran away.

See, this was how bad they banged me until my bonnet cannot close.

Another sad case was this lovely pair already broke up.

Hmmm...

Getting better but not as good as before yet there are many things keep spinning in my head and I cant get them out...

I wish to talk... but who should I talk to? Who is willing to hear all the shit that I have? Yea, no one but that is ok for me, I just need you to be with me... No matter doing what... I just need your accompany because I start to hate being alone.

3 long years already... I changed a lot, I know. I just want to survive in this big city and keep working hard for better living. Hmmm... I came here with nothing 3 years ago... Now I am still not happy with what I am having and I feel empty... Sometimes I feel tired and exhausted... All those works really tiring. Maybe I should live like other students who just set their minds on study and enjoying the college life.

Everyone does wrong, so do I. I did some stupid things without thinking much and ended up regreting for what I have done. Haha, now I am busying cleaning my ass and clearing all the shit. I need some time... and more effort... Now I need to change again, to be more optimistic so that I will feel better even I am covered with shit.

These few months... It has been hard time for me.

My dream is vanished, hope is gone and I lost my fighting spirit to move on.

Well, I think I should rest and be gone to find a way to recover. But I have a thought in mind.

Everyone has the right to do what they want to do, pursue their happiness, and even chase their dreams... Right? Maybe you just doing your job but why you gonna stop me from doing mine? I believe that you too have your dream and you go through anything to get what you wanna get, who got the right to stop you? NOBODY! Nobody has the right to say NO and stop you from being what you wanna be and doing what you wanna do.

Maybe those dreams of mine look like shit for you but you do not see the potentials behind... You think you have done the right thing? No, you are not, you do not know how far we can reach and you underestimate our capabilities... Anyway, thank you, I'll just move on.

September 13th - A good day.

We supposed to meet up on 10 morning but we changed the time to 12 noon because of the rain. We met up and had our lunch at Kim Gary then moved to Jusco foodcourt to continue our discussion... Well, we came out with something but not 100% confirm because of some reasons. I'm not sure about the others as they less share out their feeling and thinking... For me, I have the confidence but I lost the faith. Till now, I understand that it is not easy to get the agreement from others and there are many issues that take place.

Hmmm... Dont care about that, just hope that we will do well this time.

From the end of August till now, my life is the same, working everyday non-stop...

Only free at night and I already way too tired to do any other thing... got some extra jobs which already out of my reach... Bah! I am lack of stamina!

Think of something... and I need a PLAN~ Hah! I sucks in planning and most of my plans failed! God bless me please~

After discussion, I sent YongPing back and went to Pavilion with YunnHorng. We were walking around without directions... thinking about what to eat for dinner... and we ended up at Subway. My first time trying Subway and I like it so much. Anyway, the 6.5 inches bread was not enough for me.. I need MORE!

We waited for Ella and then went for Resident Evil : Afterlife. I was fucked by a smelly Malay fucker... He sat beside me and I nearly turned into zombie by his god-damned shitty smells...

Yeah, I got Michael Bublé's albums, "It's Time" and "Call Me Irresponsible" and I love them very much. Arh! Michael Bublé's voice is so powerful. Now I dont listen to pop songs anymore and I start hunting for oldies. A simple reason is because most pop songs do not use real instruments. One of my favorites is "Feeling Good" which recorded in his "It's Time".

23rd of July, Friday, the first day of KLAV which located at Jw Marriott Hotel. Yeah! I have no specific title for this post so I name it Happy Friday. Haha, it was meant to be a happy day. This week is the 10th week of this semester and I accidentally skipped the whole week's classes.

First I went to Julia's house to fetch Julia and Ella. After that we headed to LowYat Plaza's Sushi Zanmai to have our lunch.

After lunch we went to the KLAV. There were so many companies and brand distributors. They did their demo in hotel rooms and it was a bit too packed and crowded because the rooms are too small to fit in the setups and people. Below are some ultimate setups which out of my affordability.

The Brutal Princess is 21! Puteri invited us to her Brutal BLACK birthday party but what I heard is BBQ. Besides, we are being told that we will have surprise from the Brutal Queen. We do not know where is the place and we were waiting for Puteri in front of the Zoo Negara.

Little Ben

Little Ben - A non halal cafe which located in Pavilion. We went there for lunch before movie. They offer set lunch everyday including weekends for RM9.90 and the best about Little Ben is they do not charge service tax and goverment tax.

Julia already start eating while Ella still playing with camera. She really in love with photography, that's great!

Overall the food taste good enough for the price RM9.90 but for me the portion is not enough, haha.

Human Foosball

6th of July, Tuesday - Cody said that he has event going on at TARC's canteen and asked me to bring 5 friends and take part in the event. So, after class we went to canteen to check out what was going on. It was the Human Foosball organized by Pepsi. It was interesting and we decided to take part. The six of us were Ella, BengChai, YunnHorng, Vincent, YongPing and me. Julia was the photographer.

We were waiting for YongPing, the best striker in AML.

We went into and start preparing ourselves for a hardcore match with another girls team.

I was the goalkeeper because I dont play football~ I dont know how to kick. Haha.

The LX3

I am not into photography but finally I managed to get myself a compact digital camera - Panasonic LX3. I know that I am a bit slow when everyone already start to play with DSLR and I got many suggestions that asked me to invest few hundreds more to get an entry-level DSLR. I need a camera which is portable yet still capable to capture good quality photos. DSLR is a bit bulky for me and I am not ready for it.

At first I aimed for the GF1 but it is a bit too costly for me to get it as my first camera because I am still a newbie. So, I decided to get the LX3 as it got many good reviews and I like its classic alike design. I will try to get used to it and after that I will grab its accessories like lens and filters. Hope that I will not regret buying it later.

Why D Ultimatum?
Just a simple naming because both of the brands start with D.

The D7000 and 336 pair up to be a very colourful combination. D7000 is a fun can which already add colours in the output and the 336 is defenitely a colour amp as vacuum tubes act as colour agent. Different vacuum tubes have their own characteristic and colouration. The vacuum tubes used on 336 are 6AS7/6080 and 6SN7.

What is colouration in audio? It adds mood to your listening by shifting or changing the power or amplitude of signal. Colouration has its good and bad. It's nice to listen, fun and even can bring out your mood. It's hard to explain in words and the best way is to experience it by yourself. Example, I like to listen to Madonna's with this setup because it makes you feel the beats and feel like wanna dance with the music.

For those who loves neutral sound mostly do not like colour~ It's simple, colouration adds flavours and the output is not original. But still it is depending on each preference and the genres of music. You will not want to listen to orchetra with colourful amplification because it sounds not right and you will not want to listen to dance or techno with flat amplification because it sounds boring.

Before I go into headphones, around the end of 2009, I was looking for this sexy babes. That time there was no Harman Kardon distributor in Malaysia. Thus, I planned to get it from Singapore and the cost was around RM6k+ including tax and shipment cost. Damn! Luckily I didnt make that decision. If not I will be banging wall now.

I got an invitation from David Lee from Event One Sdn. Bhd. - Harman Kardon distributor. He invited me to the MacStudio in Bangsar Shopping Complex to audition this set of speaker. It is my pleasure to have chance listen to it.

First... It is not small. Haha, it is almost as big as a human head. This pair of speakers is the most expensive 2.0 multimedia speaker, you cannot find any other 2.0 system that cost RM3500. Most people will WOW and ask, "Why so expensive? Built by crystal meh?". No, it is not crystal but it is bulletproof glass. I also don't understand why it need to be bulletproof? Maybe it is meant to jack up its value? Bulletproof will not improve its sounding but it looks good and it is hard to leave any scratches on it.

Overall, its design and build quality are great. It is so luxury and beautiful. It is transparent and you cannot find any wires, you see its tweeters and aluminum cone. It uses touch-sensitive volumn control. According to Harman Kardon, they use 3" Atlas aluminum cone woofer and Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm (CMMD) doom tweeter. Indeed it is beautifully well-built with good quality components. But when I was auditioning it, I felt disappointed because it did not up to my expectation. Maybe it is limited by its amplification, size, or music source. For me, it sounds good but not good enough for RM3500 because it is better to invest in entry-level Hi-Fi.

Well, I got a good offer but I will not grab it because my requirement is higher. If anyone interested, contact me~

How I know this band?
Thank to facebook, I got to know the band leader - Darren.
He is a nice and friendly guy. Last time he invited me to go watch their show at Library but I missed it. I had not been so supportive.
Again, they will be performing at Laundry on 17th of June. Recently I am not feeling so well and I feel like drinking. That made me decide to go on 17th and watch An Honest Mistake.
I posted on facebook and I didnt expect anyone will join me but Aaron replied on my post. He gave me a shocked because I never expect that he is serious in joining me. So I started to recruit people and in the end Julia, Ella, ZiYing, YunnHorng, YongPing and BengChai joined.

According to Darren, they will start on 9.30 pm. We reached there at around 9 pm and there were many people watching football match. We hardly found a nice place - in front of the stage.

The performance started by Ariff Abu Bakar. He has a great voice.
Followed by Goodbye 20th Century. They were good too but I think they need a vocalist.
Lastly, the show was ended by An Honest Mistake. The Laundry was filled with people, their fans. Wow, I didnt expect that they are so awesome and they have huge fans. I always been very negative towards local music but they changed my perspective. They are awesome!

Seriously, this coming July I will grab their album!

Denon D7000

This is my first woody can.

When you are into wood there is no turning back.

D7000 is the highest end of Denon headphones line-up.

It is also called as the Granddaddy of Bass.

I am not a basshead but why I pick this?Comparing to Sony's headphones extra bass series like the XB700, and D7000 has the honor to be called as Granddaddy of Bass.
Let's put aside the price and do a small comparison.

I did try out the XB700, it has good build quality with very thick and comfortable cushion.But when comes to sound quality, it is a mess.Really extra bass and it lost its details and clarity. Its bass is too much, not punchy and not well-controlled. It just boom here boom there and boom everywhere.
I think the XB700 is made for the real basshead who seek for neck shaking bass~

The D7000 is excel in bass with quality and suitable quantity.
Its bass is not too much but it controls its every punch.
D7000 is a fun can, colourful enough and play well with almost every genres.You no need to be analytical and judge its sounding and performance.It might not be the most musical but just put it on, relax and enjoy.

The D7000 is nicely built.
I like its piano finished Mahogany housing. That is the beauty of wood.
Now I am in love with it... And I have made a silly decision, it is stupid~

The Tube Magic

This is my May's refreshment, the last refreshment that I got for myself during the 3 months internship.
But I ordered it in the middle of April. So, it reached me in the early of May.

This is the Tube Magic D1 from Maverick Audio.
It is not available in Malaysia yet. I met someone who was willing to bulk for it and I have decided to join the bulk. Thus, I have to wait for weeks for Maverick Audio to produce those D1 and send them from Singapore.

The Tube Magic D1 is a combination of DAC and amp.
What is a DAC? Basically the DAC is what we called "soundcard". Our source files are in digital format but all audio play back ends up at an analog device such as speakers and headphones. Therefore, no matter how high your digital music file’s bit rate is, it will have to be converted to an analog audio signal before you can hear it. The device that does the converting is called a "Digital-to-Analog Converter", in short, "DAC"

D1 has another feature which caught my attention - the tube preamp output.
The preamp output is powered by the Vintage 5670 vacuum tube, which will add some warmth and smoothness. It plays well with vocal and Jazz genres.

My Refreshment - April Delight

There was a sales going on from 1st of April to 12 of April at Sri Petaling Hotel near my office.

Since Ella and Julia wanted to buy running shoes, I told them about the sales but Julia could not make it because she went back to Kuantan. Ella and I went for it on 4th of April, Sunday.

There were many brands involved in the sales, Puma, Adidas, Camel Active, Admiral, etc etc. They were having big dicsount but some of the items already out of stock and left those rejected stock only. In the end, we still managed to choose the pairs we wanted. Ella bought the Puma, I didnt know what model then I got the Adidas Commander LT TD - Blue. Arh, I wish that they have red in stock because the red is damn sexy weh.Mine is blue in colour. So below are some unboxing photos.

On 2nd and 3rd of April, 5th batch of TARC's Multimedia students held a showcase - CHANGE , for their best works and final projects. That sounded interesting and I took 2 days leave and went there to see their works.

We met Ms.Yarshi and we took photos of us together. She is a good lecturer/tutor.
Some people dont like her maybe because she has too much rules but she is friendly and kind.
And during her class, I bet you will not fall asleep. Actually that depends on individuals.
I hope that she will teach us again in Advanced.

We had a short talk with Ms.Teng and Mr.Clifford. Talked about the showcase, our internship, and we mentioned about final project too. If not mistaken there will be only 3 persons a group and that made me started to think about my group members.

After that showcase... Here comes my conclusion.
Our juniors did a good job and they tried their best.
Some of them are really good and the group which do e-mag thingy really good in graphics and they are the most special because they managed to get outside software and make full use of it.

They are united while we're divided.
That's our problem. We never work together and now we lost our pride and dignity.
We have a good leader but we are not a good followers. Hope that others will pay more attention to this matter and be more cooperative.

We SHOULD do better than them. Good luck.

That night, there was a gathering on top of Genting.

The night before at Old Town, I told Yunn Horng about it and he is interested and wanted to go with me. I didnt expect that he will join me. Haha, I believe that this trip let him experience a lot.

Well, that day was tiring because I didnt sleep well and enough on Friday night and went to exam in the morning then went to KLCC after that. I am exhausted and took a nap...Who knows when I woke up already 8 something...Damn, I was late and we quickly started our journey to the mountain. The weather that night was not good, rain the whole night.

Hachiko : A Dog's Tale is a drama film based on the true story of Akita Hachiko.

This movie was written by Stephen P. Lindsey, directed by Lasse Hallstrom and stars Richard Gere as Parker Wilson - the professor, Joan Allen as Cate Wilson - professor's wife, and Sarah Roemer as Andy Wilson - professor's daughter.

Well, basically the plot is about the college professor takes in an abandoned dog and they form an unbreakable bond. I will not reveal its story too much, you should watch it, trust me, you will not want to miss this good movie.

I dont have much comment for this movie... Because it is so good until it touches the heart of the audience and let the audience feels the love between the owner and the dog. My 8 years old nephew watched this movie with me and he cried.

Ha, it has been a while since my last purchasing...
I promised myself that I will not buy anything and actually I just changed my way, moved from PC hardware to audio field.
I stopped spending on PC but I didnt give up on it and I still keep myself updated.
Yet audio is wide and I choose to focus on headphones.

Being a audiophile or a headphile is fun as you will have a certain requirement when listen to music or songs.

Ok, let's start with this topic - Yen's Femininity.
The below headphone model is ATH-AD700 from Audio-Technica.
Audio-Technica is from Japan since 1962.
This AD700 is their mid-end series headphone.
Hmmm... After trying out this one, I was thinking "Maybe I should try the high-end one next"

AD700 is a Open-air Dynamic type headphone with 53mm driver.
Personally I feel that it has wide soundstage, more towards neutral and balance sound but it lacks of bass. Well, bass is not the main issue here because I am not a basshead.

Okay, it brings the "Femininity", and you will ask "WHY?".

Why? Because of its colour - Pinkish Purple...

With 32Ohm impedance, this can is easy to drive, not really need to be amped.
Just direct connect it to your PMP (Portable Media Player) and it works fine.

Few days earlier Ella and YunnHorng already booked with me that after exam we will go for dinner together. Well, I didnt have any appointment on that day. After exam, I went home to take a bath and wait for them. We, 5 males and 3 females, started our journey from Prima Setapak with 3 cars - a Kancil (Ella & Julia), a Myvi (ZiYing & KokLeong), and a Toyota Corolla (YunnHorng, BengChai, YongPing & Me).

Then, we came to Palm Square in PJ.

Brussels - Beer Cafe

I like this place very much and I like its red.

As you can see the overall design is simply simple.

Its decorations are more toward western or europe style.

It is a great place for drinking, because it has warm atmosphere.

Julia started to shoot with her camera...

Another good thing about Brussels is that they provide beer testing...

The Hoegaarden. It was my first time and I fell in love with this beer. Hoho.
